The importance of comparative studies
Comparative Studies have :
1- Affected the scientific method of research (Danton, J.P. 1976)
2- Cleared the similarities and differences between library science profession in different countries. (Krzys, S.R., 1983)
Types of Comparative Studies
- Area Studies
- Cross National or Cross Cultural Studies.
- Case Studies
Full detailed information about Inter. & Comparative Librarianship are illustrated in Dr. Ahmad Bader's Book " An Introduction to Intr. & Comparative Librarianship" , his book is the first to discuss this subject in Arabic language, and in my opinion it represents a small encyclopedia that covers every thing about Intr. & Comparative Librarianship.
