for those who are interested in KM... I recieved an invitation to attend a presentation of the international knowledge managment institute...
it will take a place on Nov. 28th at 11 am at the informatics training institute in the Gulf University , Hawally... the duration is between 1 to 2 hrs.
I have talked to them and asked whether this event is open for general public, and they welcomed any participation...

Sorry for the late response...
I attended the seminar.. And the main purposes of the presentation were the following:
1- Initiate KM awareness in Kuwait.
2- Promote KM training courses in Jan. 2006.
3- General discussion regarding what is missing and what is required for KM to flourish as a concept and practice in Kuwait
During the presentation several attendees from different organization (including Dr. Sajjad and Dr. Layla from Kuwait University) shared their view and thoughts.
Also, there were people from KISR and KOC who shared their experience with KM.
It was a nice gathering of people who are interested in KM, and an opportunity to meet and learn about KM experiences in Kuwait
