The Department of Library and Information Science at Kuwait University has orginized a farewell for professor Mumtaz Ali Anwar on Tuesday, June 10. A Number of faculty members, staff, students and allumni attended the event and gave heart-felt speeches for their beloved professor and colleague who has been an integral member of DLIS for more than 8 years.

Dr. Mumtaz was not only our professor, he was our father in the department .. and I think that each one of us has beautiful memories about the department and Prof. Mumtaz lectures.
