library staff duties

so many discussion were made about the library staff duties. There is a point that there are less dicussion about the lib staff duties and it is how to deal with users: that are ill tempered, or seem to be distrubed or sick, someone might collapse and other emergencies. my question is what are the procedures the lib staff should follow in handling such cases?

A Survey of Librarians and their Motivations for Blogging

I came across this survey while I was reading some library weblogs. It was prepared by Michael Stephens, a librarian, technology trainer and author living in North Indiana. It will lay the foundation for his further research and dissertation. I found it interesting and I personally contributed to the survey. Library Etiquette

Since we are approaching Eid Al-Fitr, I'd like to discuss with you an interesting and light topic "Library Etiquette".

1. In your own point of view, what can be considered library etiquette?

2. How do we educate users about this?

3. How does it affect the library and its users?

4. Any examples, ideas, or experiences?
